Job Summary

Browning’s Pharmacy and Healthcare is seeking a full-time Rehab Technology Supplier (Assistive Technology Professional) to join our team in Melbourne, FL.

Education

- Associate degree in a related field (preferred)

- RESNA Assistive Technology Suppliers credential

- Knowledge of rehab equipment and supplies

Qualifications:

- Must communicate and work well with your fellow employees, patients, customers and other healthcare professionals.

- Knowledgeable of equipment and product line and willingness to learn new technologies.

- Maintain confidentiality of patient files.

- Participate in monthly staff meetings and in-services.

- Maintain professional appearance and attitude.

- Must be computer literate.

- Must have good telephone skills.

- Must be detail oriented.

- Must be able to prioritize various tasks.

- Must maintain a current, valid Florida license.

Responsibilities:

- Develop referral base with therapists, physicians, and rehab facilities.

- Use tools to adjust and assemble rehab equipment and have knowledge of electronics related to power wheelchairs.

- Make appropriate equipment recommendations according to client funding sources and be aware of the cost of products and discount structures from manufacturers.

- Achieve sales goals within established profitable parameters.

- Have acquired knowledge and skills to work with adult and geriatric patients with varying needs, including multidisciplinary issues, and minimal to medium need pediatric clients.

- Check all paperwork before delivering chair to ensure accuracy and completeness, and consistently record notes in patient charts.

- Other duties as assigned, including attending functions during non-business hours.
