EDUCATION

  • MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY OF PATIENT FILES.
  • PARTICIPATE IN MONTHLY STAFF MEETINGS AND IN-SERVICES.
  • MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE.
  • MUST HAVE GOOD TELEPHONE SKILLS.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • THE REHAB SERVICE/REPAIR TECHNICIAN IS RESPONSIBLE TO THE SALES AND REHAB MANAGER.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO ASSEMBLE, MAINTAIN AND REPAIR HOME MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN THE STORE AS WELL AS AT FACILITIES AND PATIENTS HOMES.
  • KEEP MAINTENANCE RECORDS ON EQUIPMENT SERVICE/REPAIR ACCORDING TO MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS.
  • MUST BE WILLING TO EXPAND YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR.
  • MAINTAIN INVENTORY CONTROL OF EQUIPMENT PARTS AND ORDER SUPPLIES AS NEEDED.
  • RECEIVE SHIPMENTS AND VERIFY FOR ACCURACY WITH PURCHASE ORDERS.
  • DELIVERY OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO PATIENTS HOMES AND FACILITIES.
  • KEEP REHAB STAGING AND STORAGE AREA CLEAN AND ORDERLY.
  • ON A DAILY BASIS REVIEW AND PERFORM TECHNICIAN DUTIES LIST AS PREPARED BY THE REHAB DEPARTMENT.
